Another Stage 1 upgrade

Just wanted to let you all know I just got home from Douglas and Frye in Sterling. I had the stage 1 upgrade performed and some bolt-on stuff---windshield and passenger floorboards. I have to agree with Booter's post previously in this topic---the Stage 1 upgrade is really worth it. The exhaust note is fantastic, not too sharp or crackly, but not mellow, either. You can definately notice a difference in performance, too. Man, that was a hard check to write this afternoon, but when I got home, the roads were dry, I unloaded the bike, put the trailer away and took off down the road...can you still hear me smiling?

Again, as before, the service and staff at Douglas and Frye are, in my opinion, peerless. Rich is one of the best wrenches you'll find, I think.

Yep, have to agree with ya on that. Have never had a problem that wasn't addressed. As far as Rich goes I've known many good wrenches in my life, Heck I'm pretty fair myself, but he does know his stuff. He loves the Vic's, but if it was an antique or a brand new Honda he's just as good. Gives you a real sense of confidence rolling down the road knowing he is the guy that set it up.
