Probably not. It isn't definite yet, but the wife is cooking something up for the weekend with the family. If it changes I'll be there though and will likely bring one with.

Looks like Dee and I are in. It will be 1 way because we are spending the night in Galena and then off to her parents cabin in Wisconsin.

It looks like I'm going to make it afterall. The wife has been pretty good to me lately. It has me a little worried.
I expect to have my brother with me on his TC and maybe his wife with him. I've been trying to recruit him, but haven't had much luck. Maybe if we gang up on him...

Is there a route set for the 5/29 ride? Is anyone interested in doing a trial run this weekend?
Also, are there any plans to advertise, or are we going to keep it to us & friends? Just curious.

It seems to me that we should include anyone that wants to ride. Its a charity event, after all. Galena would make a nice turn around point.

If the route's not planned already, I know a great route that would take us to Galena then to Morrison without riding the same road twice. Basically its to Mount Carrol, North to Elizibeth road, West to Derinda road, N. to Hwy 20, across to Elizabeth, North to Old Stagecoach Road, W. to Galena. From Galena, Blackjack Road S. to Hanover, Hwy 84 S. to Fulton, then E. to Morrison. Whatever the route, it would be a good idea to ride it beforehand to see if there's construction.

Savanna to Fulton on 84 is kind of boring actually. There's backroads going SE from Savanna to Hwy 78 just North of Morrison, but I've never ridden them.

I put a flyer together, it's at D&F, I'm also going to try and drop some off at the other dealers in the area. and I plan to put an ad in the paperfor the weekend. I know Dave has recruited some of the wings from his group to join as well.

I posted the NIVR Charity Ride at this site. They approve submissions manually, so there will be a delay before it appears.

I saw the ad for the ride yesterday in the local newspaper. It looks good. Do the NIVR members need to be at D&F at any particular time to have a meeting, sign up riders or any other duties?

It's getting close. I hope we have a good turn out! Weather looks to be great.
I'd love to see more Vic's than all the rest, but everyone is invited. So call all your buds and bring them along for a great day of riding.
