V2V5 Leg 8

I'm sure this isn't going to go over well with guys like Dave J who make motel reservations six months in advance, but we have decided to change the starting point for leg 8. We will begin at Super 8 Motel, 4 Pantera Dr Wentzville MO 63385 (636) 327-5300 . We will leave at 9:00 AM, to allow folks staying at Kirkwood to get to Wentzville.

I have sent e-mail to Pete to arrange for passing the baton at Kirkwood. Or maybe Dave, if you're not too pissed about this, you could bring it with you if you are coming over to Wentzville. You are doing 7 and 8, right?

I appreciate your help.

When we were discussing the possibility of moving, I took the suggestion of one of the local chapter members, and didn't investigate for myself. After I posted all these messages, and changes to the website, I found out that instead of moving to the east side of St. Louis, we were moving WEST. That's what I get for not checking on things myself.

So....it looks for now as if we will make it the Super 8 in Troy, IL. I'll post the address and phone number.

One of the reasons we want to move it, is because Tony and I think one more rider are going to be coming over after work, riding solo. Want to make it as easy for them as possible. Terry and I are making a whole day of getting over there.

Leg 7 will still end at the Best Western, Kirkwood, MO.

Leg 8 will officially begin at Super 8 Motel

We will leave at 9:00 AM to allow anyone staying at Kirkwood time to get to the other side of St. Louis.
