I wanted to carry my camera where it was accessable without dismounting and the only place seemed like the headlight shroud. I figured a camera waist pack would work, but the ones I could find were too large and not study enough. The solution was the Escort Coated Canvas Waistpack, made by Galco for concealed carry of semi-autos (this one is for a Kahr P40). It fits my Mavica just right after cutting out the back panel of the front pocket to join the two compartments. It doesn't shake around at all, but it might slide up so I zip-tied it to prevent that. Its built with a layer of expanded neoprene on the inside back surface, which is good. I'll post some pics when I get back from the trails.
