Hello fellow Vic enthuiasts. I just heard about this forum yesterday and am glad to have found a pipeline to others like myself. I am the proud owner of 1999 Vic# 767. Since it is a numbered bike I am trying to maintain the stock appearance, but had Rich Frey install the J&E pistons and Andrews 402 cams last spring. WOW! I gotta think this is the way God and Polaris intended it. Anyway, I'll be checking in from time to time and probably spouting off. Come on Spring!!!!

I'm not sure yet about the bus trip. I don't know if Sunday is going to work for me. I seem to remember something about my daughter and a swim meet on Sunday. If so, I will probably drive in on Friday afternoon and check out the show Friday night. In the past the crowds have been pretty light on Friday. But if Sunday works out, I'll be there.

Fritz,
I remember you from ft. madison. I believe that was Sept. 28 2002. My wife and I were pulling the trailer behind the Vic and we were headed for Hannibal , MO. The other couple was on a new 1800 Gold Wing.

Welcome to the forum basgetar! I haven't explored much near Chillicothe, although I've followed backroads around the Mackinaw River between Bloomington and Peoria.

What's good in your area? Would you be willing to show me some weekend if I ride up?

Steve
