So the way it sounds as of now there will be no official homecoming ride in Spirit Lake. So that sets me to thinking. (God help us, Short brain wave on a stack of small gray matter) I got some reservations in Spirit Lake for the weekend until I hear different, but an alternative plan don't cost a dime. Any ideas floating around out there to spend a weekend in da saddle? Go crash Kozy's (see Michigan, have a beer?) ride a river valley, Head for the hills (cuz I can't see any from here), Pick a spot to get together and hash out ligistics for a formal Chapter. Just some ideas  Cabin fever is at a dangerous level what can I say? :rightgun: COME ON SUNNY 30 Degree DAYS!! I WANNA RIDE!!

I putt up Hwy 78 to Black Earth, WI, or Madison or thereabouts and back sounds good to me. 78 is a nice route once you get North of Hwy 11.

I've been contemplating (more like wintertime fantasizing) a ride up the west bank of the Mississippi, crossing over at LaCrosse to check on the supply of Lieny's Red (yah hey dare), then retreating back south on the east side. The roads look all twisty and fun, and it should be an easy 2 day trip.

They just can not do the same thing twice:mad: !
I see n in the Feb. V twin mag. that Polaris is to have a North American National Open House in October? As soon as the temp warm up we need to ride . Anyone up for a spur of the warmth run if we get a weekend day above say 35.

Tim, no workie I'll ride. Been a wormin' for some OT but it ain't happening. I've put off some minor details on the scoot I want to take care of but it seems with the weather I might as well go on ahead and take her down. ( thought the mild winter might prevail )

Hey guys. We're (the TCVR) working on our own Spirit Lake ride, maybe we can orgainize it so both our clubs go the same weekend.

(see Poll: Spirit Lake)

And Vic 767, why cross at La Crosse? It's a great drive all the way up to Red Wing, and then cross over and head back south!

I guess now the VMC is planning on a Spirit Lake over ride. Be sure and vote for the dates if you have a preference.
