I recieved this message from a newly formed group out of Wisconsin http://victorypowerriders.com Here is the note they seny me, just want to make sure we agree that we should do this before I respond. Thanks


Hi Frank,

Just introducing myself, I know you have been talking with Bert (my husband) on several occasions and since I set up the website some members would like me to link to your site. Would you mind if we do that? Also, could you possibly put our link on your site? That way we can catch rides etc. from both groups. What do you think about being our sister group?

That sounds fine as to the links. Sister Group? Are they a VMC group? The more activity the better I would think.

I believe they are using Sister Group as a term that we would be linked and do things together. They currently are not a chapter of the VMC, but I know they have been discussing it. Even if they don't (not necessaily a bad thing) I think us linking with them is a good thing.

I agree, I'll have to check out their site. Did you guys know they oversold the Hammer? (in case you missed it) :D :D :D :D :D

Just waiting to hear how this turns out. It could be handled by creating a links page on the site, or could receive top billing by being worked into the forum pages header. Creating a Links forum in the General area could be useful, but a "Sister Site" (why not "Brother Site"?) link in any forum would get buried.

By the way Steve, I like the way the sponsers rotate in the upper right corner.

Russ, Welcome to the site! :cool: The over sold the hammer statement was from the VMC site. Where someone posted the Hammer was oversold on almost every forum on the site and that would be 18 to 24 posts. I do not beleive the Hammer is over sold, but with 18 to 24 posts which one do you reply to. That is what was so funny about the Hammer oversold at least 18 times. I this get a laugh out of it. :biglaugh:

You didn't ride this past Sunday? Man what I wouldn't do for another day like that. The average for this time of year is 42 degrees. Where the hell is that???

There's been a VMC link on the Home Page since day one. Anyway, I added a links page to the site and put some stuff on it.
