Today was a super day for a bike ride in the Shawnee Hills area southeast of Harrisburg,IL. One hundred fifty mile ride, great fellowship and a tasty fish lunch at Old Shawneetown all contributed to day to be remembered.

Ol'Smokey, Welcome to the site. From the post I take it you are from southern Illinois. If you are planning on going to ABATE'S Freedom Rally in Springfield on May 1, 2005 maybe we could meet up. I think we could get a few others from this site to show up also.

Yes, Harrisburg,IL is home. I Will keep the Springfield date in mind. Thank you for the information. The Tag-Along group is mostly a get home before sundown bunch of riders. Hence the reason all our mapped rides are one day or less. We are switching over to a GPS based map that we email upon request. This a vast improvement over those provided now.

If you have visited our website you have found that we are a provider of free
maps and directions on rides in Southern IL and Northern Kentucky. Our website is a free one so it has a pop up or two now and then. Since we are all retired ,we're cheap,ha!

I ride a classic 1985 Gold Goldwing SE with 40K. It looks and performs great. The difficulty of finding parts could become an issue in the future.

Have a great day Sidecar, we'll catch you later.
