Maybe they don't fit? But the non response from him..... here or by email or by voice mail. Earl, if you read this and it was me that pissed in your wheaties I guess I'm sorry??? Hope you're doing well and all that. Ta Ta (yeah, I tend to take it personally when I make several attempts to contact someone and they blow me off)

Hello all....My bad for not responding to your concerns and birthday greetings. We are alive and well. We had intended to make the memorial day ride but something came up as it seems to do alot of the time lately. As far as the VMC shirt sale...Dee and I have no intention of being part of the VMC anymore. Too many issues with too many people. Even $8.00 is too much to give to them to fritter away. Funny...I wrote the by-law that states that you MUST be a member of the VMC to belong to a local chapter so by default we are not "official" members of the NIVR anymore either. We hope to make a few local rides if you hold any but it seems like everything is geared to VMC destinations which we are not interested in going to. We plan to ride down south, maybe New Orleans, Tennesee, Kentucky. Were thinking about maybe Niagra Falls. We'd love to ride with y'all on longer trips but not where you want to go. Mark...I did get your phone messages but I just didn't want to discuss the VMC membership issue which is what I thought you may be calling about, no blow-off intended. Dee and I love you guys and wish you all a safe riding season...look forward to seeing y'all sometime.

Hi Earl,

I'd love to rope you into a day trip to show you the roads along the Sangamon River. The ride starts in Monticello and ends in Pekin. You'll find my threads about it in the Central forum.

I still have an ambition to check out the roads in S. IL this summer. Its not a trivial putt to get down there. To make it worthwhile it sounds like a three day weekend would be in order. Any interest in that? With the maps at this website, I think one could plan a good fews days of riding.
