Hi all, I just found your forum. I thought i was the only Victory owner in this area. I fell in love with the kingpin when i went for a test ride last summer.
I bought a 2004 KP this last april and am loving it.

So put together some more local rides and i'll be there!! :)

Greetings Starbuck! I live in Cerro Gordo, about 15 miles West of Decatur and straight South of Monticello. I'll be announcing another Sangamon/Illinois River ride in the fall after the fall colors arrive. I met a Vic owner from Springfield several years ago on a ride to Spirit Lake. Don't know if he's still around or not. I only know of one other Vic owner in the Decatur area but that's all. There's two others a half-hour South of me and they ride solo or else with the THVMC.

Nice to meet you. I assume you mean East of Decatur and West of Champiagn! :) Well we need to spread the word and fix these numbers. A central IL dealer would sure help. Where did you get yours?

Yeah you're right, East of Decatur. I bought mine at Indy Power Sports near Indianapolis, but I get it serviced mostly at Douglas & Frye in Sterling, and some at the Terre Haute dealer. I don't understand why Victory hasn't been able to recruit somewhere along I72 or in Bloomington.

Welcome to the board flamecruiser.

Starbuck and I are the only ones from the central area that have come to this website that I know of. There's a Vegas owner in Decatur and I've ridden with a TC owner in Westfield and one in Oakland a few times. For group rides there hasn't been much, mainly because of the low numbers in these parts.

How about this weekend, Nov. 5 or 6? Check in at the new thread in this forum I've created for it. Its short notice, but we won't have many good weekends left in this season.

There can't be too many riding days left Brad, although I do tend to push the limits of cold near the end. Post if you want to try it one of these weekends. Maybe by that time I'll have my new RAM mount bolted on and can try shooting some video of awsome Vics in action.
