In the last two weeks I've explored the roads in and out of the tributaries of the IL River between Peoria and Princeton in my car, including the East bank, the valley of a creek opposite Henry, and the Sandy Creek valley around Tiskilwa South of Princeton. What a great ride these roads would make! There's a wind turbine farm on a high spot SW of Tiskilwa.
I've put together a route starting at the McDonalds in Metamora, winding up and down the valleys of the East bank to Princeton, all through the Tiskilwa valley and then down to Chillicothe. I haven't ridden it nonstop, but I think it will take most of a day.
Would anyone be up for it sometime in the last two weeks of October?
