Good question but I can ask you the same thing. Unfortunately it was my only option. There are other trunk options that I have seen, but if one wants some room the Pizza Box is a good choice. I had been looking for a Yamaha trunk but just could not find one. The Yamy's trunk is not as square and and would match the TC bags better IMO. With the fairing there isn't any other choice that could hold a radio that I know of. If it looks like a HD so be it. I know what I ride.
