What is the best way to get there from Randy's place? About how far is it and how long does it take to get there?

Do you have any idea how long we will be needed?

Sounds like a good ride to me - very possible. I think if I take 72 over to 2 and then down the Rock River I end up in Sterling. Anybody know that route?

Luke, are you planning to go? What time will you be leaving?

Well they're saying thunderstorms in the afternoon. If that holds I would consider it. We would probably need to leave by 8 to get there around 9:45. However I just put new handlebars on so I need to do a test ride in the morning. If we were there for an hour we would get back here around 1. Also, I do not know where in Sterling this is? I know where the Harley dealer is, but not sure if that is Sterling or Rock Falls?

Any help out there? Anyone else planning to go?

Address is 1902 N Locust St, Sterling, IL 61081.
Probably as just 1902 Locust St. since there really is no south numbers on it.
Located at the intersection of Reins and Locust.
BTW Locust is Route 40.

Here is what NOAA weather has to say for Sterling:

Saturday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Increasing clouds, with a high near 63. South wind between 14 and 18 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Carpentersville weather (for Luke and me) is:
A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3pm. Increasing clouds, with a high around 64. Breezy, with a south wind between 15 and 20 mph.

I'm game as long as the rain and storms in Sterling hold off until after noon.

Luke, you want to meet some where around your place? How about the south end of the Woodman's parking lot at 8:00?

Dave, can Luke and I meet up with you along the way since neither of us knows where we are going? If so, where would be an easy place to find you?

I think the camera is still intact. It was interesting to say the least. Will be curious to see the final product.
