I received this the other day and thought this might be a fun thing for us to do and a great way to show the people what great looking bikes Vics are. Please post a reply if you are interested in attending. Depending on what time check in is for the bike show maybe we could meet for a breakfast ride first.
Hello,
I am in the early stages of helping to plan a community event for the residents of HomeTown Aurora. The Community Life director and I would like to know if your club would be interested in attending our community event tentatively set for Saturday, May 20th mid afternoon. There will also be food and fun for people of all ages, so family is welcome as well, but all types of sporty and classic cars and motorcycles are invited to attend. We are also attempting to have a police k-9 demonstration, McGruff the Crime Dog, and the Aurora FD present, along with a magician, clown, and crafts, amongst other activities. Food and drink will be free for the “driver” of each vehicle in attendance. The events usually have between 300 and 500 people in attendance. The community consists of nearly 1200 single family homes. The community is located approximately 10 minutes South of I-88 near Rte 34 and approx. 5 minutes west of Rte. 59.
Please let me know if your club would be interested in participating in our community event. I am attempting for a car/motorcycle “show” to be one of the events at the summer kick-off.
