55 degrees today so I went out to put some miles on the new ride ( 05 Pin) , Five minutes out the engine light comes on and stays on , even after restart.
Going into shop tommorrow for computor check up, anyone ever had this problem and what was the cause

can't say I have, normally restarting clears the light. you must have something amiss.

Barry, do you keep the bike on a charger?

I had this with my 05 KP. There was an issue with 05 KPs having the wrong fuel mapping. This resulted in the check engine light coming on all the time. The fix was to have the dealer reflash the bike.

Picking up the ride in a few days. Engine light problem , so they say, was due to a bad or low battery which triggers some some codes in mapping that forces the light to come on. We'll ride it for a few days and see what happens

Thats solved , a computor hook up to the factory with new computor codes downloaded solved the problem (for now)
