Motorcycling in central Illinois is not something that people write about often, so I decided to document one of my recent trips. All of this could have been ridden on my Vic, but for gravel my BMW GSPD works better.
The Golden Eagle Ferry across the Mississippi is one of my favorite "local" Victory cruise destinations. On many occasions the first thing the Hoardes of HD riders have seen, as they leave the ferry crossing from MO, is my Vic parked outside Kinder's Pub.
