Driftless Area Ride - 2007

Sterling IL to Soldiers Grove WI and back - two days - date to be decided.

Last year we scheduled this too late in the season and it was canceled due to cold and snow. The route would put us in Soldiers Grove in the early evening, leaving time to split up and explore the local roads some more before darkness., or just chill out in the motel pub.

How do you all feel about a weekend in May, say the 12th, 19th or 26th (I'm booked on the 5th).

At the last board meeting we scheduled this ride for the weekend of Sept 22 & 23.

Thank you Jim. I see by the IVR December mintues that a two-day ride was scheduled for September, but a destination was not named. I also see that an IVR ride is scheduled for May 26. In light of this information I am renaming the present ride to the:

May 2007 Driftless Area Ride

Anyone who's intersted, please post your preferences about which weekend in May, either the 12th or the 19th, works best for you. Otherwise I'll just do what I always do, which is pick a weekend and go.
