I recently purchased an 07 Corey Ness Jackpot and it's my first time with a drive belt. Is it normal for it to ride consistently toward the outside of the sprockets? It is not rubbing on anything or showing any unusual wear after 5500 miles, but as a precaution I thought I'd ask. Does it need alingment or is it OK?

All my Vic's ride on the outer part of the rear sprocket. If the edge of the belt is not wearing you should be fine. The main belt fail item I have had is a rock getting between the belt and sprocket. This has happened 3 times in the last 8 years, with only 1 belt breaking the others lost a tooth or 2.

Agree with Tim. All my Vic's have favored the right side.
