This ride is being sponsored by a womens group that calls themselves "The Underwires" (they support the girls). The proceeds are to benefit the CGH Health Foundation Women's Cancer Prevention Program. Sign up is from 10:00am to noon on Sunday September 7, at Workman's Harley Davidson, $10 per single and $15 per couple. The ride ends at Kapp's Banquet Facility in Rock Falls. There will be live music, live and silent auctions, food & drink, 50/50 raffle, plus men's and women's proud to wear pink contests. I was told that Douglas and Frye donated a scooter that is to be raffled off as well. I know some of the women putting this on and they are about 3/4 of a bubble off. This ought to be a good time.

If anyone is interested in going and getting together for breakfast before hand let me know.

As my sister has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer you can be assured that Christy and I will support this event. I hope to see you ALL there!

I'll be at Workmans around 10. I'm probably not going to do the whole day thing though. I'll see how mother nature treats the afternoon.

I'll see you at Workman's. I think Mother Nature is going to be pretty agreeable.

Sorry to hear about your sister Dave. My prayers are with her.

Anyone that didn't make it to this event doesn't know what they were missing! It was very well organized for being a first annual ride and the route they chose was really great. There were refreshments at every stop and plenty of helpers at registration, the stops and at the banquet hall at the end. It was also great how people along the route supported the riders as well by decorating in pink or standing on corners or outside of their houses and cheering us all on! I hope they do another ride next year and it's bigger than this year was.

Great weather + awesome people...........PRICELESS
