NIVR monthly meeting is this coming Wed. ,Dec. 17, at 7PM. Meeting will be held at the Pizza Villa Resturant 824 W. Lincoln Hwy (rt. 38) in DeKalb, IL.

Attendance- Dave, Mark, Tim, Lisa and Jim
Discussion,
1) Bike show in Sterling / Rock Falls Mall . April 23-25 if anyone was interested to show off thier Bike. No Prizes or awards to be given away.
2) WINTER GL region Meeting. We will place a poll for all weekends in Feb.( 7,14,21,&28) on the VMC site to see which dates the most can make it on. Possible locations Chicago , Indy, South bend or Springfield.
3) Mission statement ? Still in the works
4) Loggo/patch ? still in the works
5)Ride waivers - Should only need if any money is being colllected or the ride is being sponsored by someone.

I am glad I asked, because the previous discussion in the "Starting a Local Chapter" thread indicated the 4th Wednesday of the month was agreed upon. I realized this didn't work for December due to the holidays, but I did not realize nor did I see it mentioned anywhere that it was permanent change to the 3rd Wednesday. I will plan to be there.

I Just found out out that on Wednesday the 21st I am expected to be having dinner with a company VP flying in from North Carolina. I would rather be chowing pizza and sipping brew in more friendly surroundings.

Oh well, maybe February.

We need to stay consistant with the date. The next question is to have the meeting at Pizza Villa or my place. Game room/ Bar is almost 100% complete and should be easily done by March 17th the next meeting date. Bring your green Beer.

I would like to check in by telephone sometime during this meeting. I'll plan on calling Tim's cell phone about 8 PM.

Just as a suggestion, it might pay off to try to identify any website- or forum-related issues that exist before then.
