Earl---Lunch?

Earl: or anyone else 'round Peoria---feel like lunch this week? I just happen to have both days off, and I'm thinking a short ride would be in order. Today (Wed.) and tomorrow supposed to be partly cloudy and 50 degrees each day. I thought maybe we could ride into Peoria and meet somewhere, if you're up to it.
try my cell phone, (309 370 6845) and I'll check back here often, too. Of course, anyone else is welcome, too. How about 1:00pm? Is that too late?

let me know

Smitty,

Sorry for just getting back to you......we just returned from Mexico tonight. I will be in for work Friday but unable to get away since I will have to get a seminar in order for next week travel Monday thru Thursday. In any case my bike is out of commission due to events while I was riding a couple of weeks ago. Busted my shift linkage AND destroyed my oil cooler. So the gods are not smiling on us hooking up, at least on the Vics. I'll give you a shout-out on your cell....

Earl

oh, sorry to hear that, my friend. As it turned out, it wasn't as favorable as the weather guessers would have had us believe. I did ride Tuesday, but it wasn't all that enjoyable---still nice to get out though, make no mistake. Let us know how that repair work goes. Maybe over the holidays we can hook up for lunch. Where do you work and what schedule do you keep?
later

Earl Lunch

You are correct it is a rocket..Talked to Earl down at Volusia and he told me that he was tired of the Mastersbilt saying they would get four and only have one good one in the bunch.
