2010 State Ride Dates

Here are the dates for the 2010 state rides. Details will be posted as we get closer to the dates:

Spring Ride: April 11th (rain date April 18th). We will meet at a place in Byron called The Cave (2nd St. just west of north Union St.) around noon for lunch*. After lunch we will explore area roads.

Charity Ride: May 29th (no rain date). We will meet at the dealers (Douglas-Frye and Randy's) and head to Starved Rock for a late lunch at the Starved Rock Lodge.

Fall Ride: Sept 19th (rain date Sept 26). We will meet for lunch in Savanna at either Poopy's or the Iron Horse Social Club*. After lunch we will ride the local scenic roads.


* The plan is for riders to head towards the lunch destination meeting up and forming groups along the way. As we get closer to a ride a thread will be started for ride planning. Those attending the ride are encouraged to post their route so riders can determine where they can meet up.


Here are two additional dates to mark on your calendar:

April 24 & 25: Open house at Randy's. The Victory semi will be there. Demo rides on the 2010 bikes including the new Cross bikes. The IVR will be working the food booth.

December 11: Holiday party. The party will be held at a restaurant (TDB) in DeKalb. Cocktails at 6:00 and dinner at 7:00. Lasting until???
